Change continues to be in the air at Cadillac! Following our local facility upgrades are global changes for the brand, including a new naming convention to adorn future Cadillac cars and SUVs and a new company headquarter location.

Starting with the new full-size sedan, due later this year, the brand's flagship model will adopt an alpha-numeric title. So, rather than the expected model name of LTS, Cadillac's top-end car will be called the CT6. Car models will wear the "CT" letters followed by a number relative to their size and position in the Cadillac hierarchy. Cadillac plans to introduce the new naming convention on only redesigned or all-new models, calling the change an "evolutionary process.” The one model name that will remain the same will be the brand’s flagship and ever-popular SUV, the Escalade.

In addition to the model name changes, Cadillac will be moving its headquarters from Detroit to New York early this year. The shift comes as Cadillac focuses on global growth and tries to establish a fresh identity in the luxury market. Currently, most of Cadillac's functions are part of the rest of General Motors in Detroit.

With the facility and client enhancements complete here at Alderson Cadillac and the positive changes at Cadillac corporate, you can rest assured that Cadillac is ready to go to the next level! I appreciate your continued support of Alderson and look forward to seeing you around the dealership.
